Three Daughters Married!
Elizabeth, the daughter I never thought would be married, has just informed me that she will be eloping with the most charming Mr. Darcy. Oh, how everything has changed. Now, when she first told me, I couldn't help but not say anything, for it was the most absurd thing I have ever heard. But then I realized that Mr. Darcy is perfect for her! And what better a man to have in this family, for he was the one who paid for Lydia and Wickham's wedding. I couldn't find him to be any more charming. And not only that, But Elizabeth will be happy with him, and also, he is one of the richest men I have ever been acquainted with. What a lovely time the Bennet family is having! Three of my daughters are married. Wow.

Yes, yes this is all fine and happy, but I hope you realize what a mistake this whole thing can be. Darcy is still a jerk sometimes, and could end up ruining your family. I (not) wish the best of luck to your family!

ReplyDeleteYour acceptance of me and Lizzy brings me much happiness Miss Bennet. Although your crazy sometimes, I am happy to state we will soon be family. As for Caroline Bingley ^ she should shut her mouth because nobody cares about what she has to say. She will most likely die sadly and alone.
I know you will come to love Darcy. I have known him my whole life and he has been nothing but pleasant. Darcy's money will not ruin Elizabeth because he will not spoil her. I know she will be amazed when she moves into Pemberly. This marriage has helped by making everybody forget about Lydia. This is great for Lizzy and for the family.
ReplyDeleteMother,
ReplyDeleteAren't you just so proud of Lizzie?! My dear sister is finally getting married, to some one we all thought would never happen. You are right he is a very good man after all. I know they will last forever!
Darcy and I will be the happiest couple alive! I am so glad to have finally found someone that I truly love. Jane and I could not be more equally happy. Such great timing! It gives me much pleasure to think that everything finally worked out!
ReplyDeleteOf course you were surprised when Elizabeth announced her engagement to Darcy, everyone was. For the man she once loathed is now the one she loves. Elizabeth is strong and I'm sure she knows what is best for her. Yes mother your dream has come true, for a share of your daughters are getting married!
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, it is true. I am to be married in a matter of weeks! I am just about the happiest girl in the world!
ReplyDeleteTypical mother ranting about marriage. But in all sincerity, thank you for your happiness in my getting married, even though I sense it is more influenced by his pocketbook than my happiness. I know the family has been taken by surprise with Darcy and I's elopement, but it was for the best that I kept my affection for him a secret, especially from you with your tendencies. Both Darcy and I have surely come along way from Bingley's ball.
ReplyDeleteI know how happy you must be. Now there's only one two left. Well thank you mother for your happiness. I want you to know that I am very happy with Darcy and I hope you understand I truly love him. That's what matters. Darcy and I are married despite what people think. Against all the people who've doubted, we went got married anyway because we love each other.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad for the Bennet family. I am sorry that I could not give you a fourth married daughter, but I am just not feeling the same about her. Anyeays, just wanted to say that I am so happy that your family is doing well. You have raised lovely daughters, and you are a great mother.
ReplyDeleteQuick change in opinion of Darcy I guess I wonder how much money he gave you. Just kidding, you must really like that your girls will be walking around in some trenddy clothes now that there with us rich boys. But it seems like not to long ago that you were low on Darcy because he was not nice to Lizzy but that is just how he shows he likes someone.
