Word On The Street
My darling Elizabeth is out visiting her good friend Charlotte and her lovely husband, Mr. Collins. Word on the street is that a day after my daughter arrived, the lovely, handsome, and extremely rich Mr. Darcy came for a visit. My guess is that he is in love with Elizabeth! I mean, why else would he come to Hunsford? Him and my Lizzy have always had a connection between eachother, they just allude to the fact that it's true. Oh! How lovely it would be if they were to marry. He is so wealthy and of good fortune; My Elizabeth would be the news of the entire decade!

Mother, I have already told you that I have absolutely no interest in Mr. Darcy. He is fowl, overbearingly proud, and arrogant. I would never stoop so low. Besides, how could I ever enjoy a man who has taken part in Jane's misfortunes?

ReplyDeleteHow nice of you to notice my stunning good looks Miss Bennet, but im afraid your daughter despises me(sad face). I proposed to her and was turned dow . You can not even imagine the humility and frustration that I felt. However, I think shes just playing hard-to-get and actually wants me. Only time can tell.
mom, under no means will I EVER marry Mr. Darcy. Please get that absurd thought out of you're head.
ReplyDeleteAnd as for you Mr. Darcy.. I do not want you. I will never allow myself to be married to a man who shows much pride and who would do such a thing to my lovely sister Jane. Please move on to a woman who can actually love you back.
Dear Mrs. Bennet,
ReplyDeleteYou don't know your daughter at all. She hates me, and no amount of money will change her mind. She refused my proposal of marriage, so apparently my good looks have no effect on her either. Also, just to set straight all the gossipers like yourself Mrs. Bennet, Elizabeth and I never had and will never have a connection.

My dear, i encourage you not to get ahead of yourself. Lizzy would never say yes to Mr. Darcy, for money and position mean little to nothing in the eyes of our daughter. The only time she would say yes to a gentleman caller is if she truly loved them. I wish you would just let up on the subject of marriage just a little, and my sanity would not be at risk.
ReplyDeleteLOLOLOLOL your daughters are gone. maybe they'll never come home. or theyll get married (or not.) haha no one will ever love them. mr. Darcy will lovee however. #futuremrsdarcy
