Travelling Thoughts
Lizzy and Jane have been gone for quite some time now. The house has been very quiet, and I have been less busy with two of my daughters gone away. We dearly miss them here at home, especially Lydia. She can't wait for the girls to come home to share their new gossip of the adventures they've had. I wouldn't be surprised if both of them came back engaged, for they have been gone so long. It would be a great sight for me to see my daughters with a lovely man in their life whom consists of great fortune and wealth. Oh how lovely it would be to hear gossip about my very own daughters and how astounding they are! Poor Jane. She was simply rejected by the awful Charles Bingley. Hopefully she will come home with a new man that she can boast about to everyone, for it would not be annoying to me. Let's hope all goes well.

Mother, I have missed everyone dearly while I have been gone and look forward to seeing father and Lydia. I am stil not engaged, and as I have told you, I don't intend to get married until I have fallen in love.
ReplyDeleteDear Mother,
ReplyDeleteDo not worry about the unfortunate event that has unfolded between Mr. Bingely and I. He was a great man of much wealth and he brought me much happiness, but I know that someday I, and all of my beautiful sisters will find a man to call their own. Don't stress about your daughter's lack of engagements, we all possess fantastic qualities and is it bound to occur one day. I have missed you all dearly, and I can not wait to come home and speak with all of you!
I'm terribly sorry, mother, but I do not miss you at all. You have tried to forced me into things that I am perfectly capable of handling myself....
ReplyDeleteMom, didn't I tell you I was perfectly fine with the course of events that happened between Mr. Bingley and I? As long as I'm not showing what I'm really feeling, everything will turn out to be okay. I would never boast whether I find a new man or not, regardless of how wealthy or good looking he is, by the way. Some of your daughters don't inherit your annoying traits.. Love you mommy, I can't wait to come back for I have missed my family as well.
ReplyDeleteMother... fortune and wealth isn't everything. Please stop worrying about us. Were grown woman who can make their own decisions. We'll be just fine. If I do get engaged it will be two a man who truely loves me and shows great intelligence and respect towards me. Certainly not someone like Mr.Darcy.
ReplyDeleteJane and Elizabeth- how delightful it is to hear from you two. I see where you are coming from, but you must know that all I am doing is looking out for you two and making sure you live a well sustained life. I cannot wait for both of you to return, and I hope you are having lovely visits with your friends and family members. Not much has changed here at home, for it is much more quieter without my two smartest daughters to keep everyone company. I love you both
ReplyDeleteMrs Bennet I woulkd just like to say how sorry I amthat I could not marry your daughter. I truly was deeply in love with Jane but the constant hatred I recieved from Mr Darcy I coulkd not take any longer, then that man went and asked Lizzy to marry him and she intelligently said no to the egotistical guy.
ReplyDeleteI am very sorry you miss your daughters, but, no offense, there is no way your daughters would find someone who loves them enough to actually marry them. Keep wishing though, Mrs. B.
ReplyDeleteI can not wait to come home and see all of you! But unfortunately I am still heart broken over Mr. Bingley and don't see myself getting over him anytime soon. On the other hand it will be fascinating to hear all of the thing Elizabeth has to say. Also if she comes home with a man it will be great to see her happy.
ReplyDeleteHi, Mother! My trip in London has been a nice getaway but I would love to come back home. I have been writing to Lizzie and from the way she sounds, I am a little concerned. I have no news unfortunately, since my unhapiness has put me in such an ill mood. Tell the family I say hello, and I hope you all are doing well.
